Situated within our beloved garden centre, the Mad Hatters restaurant opens daily at 10am, serving a hearty breakfast until 11:30am (11:15am on Sundays). We highly recommend a stop for freshly brewed coffee and a slice of our homemade cake to start your day. At lunchtime, our chefs craft an exceptional experience with a varied daytime menu, accompanied by daily specials, prepared from scratch and using the finest ingredients. Lunch is served from 12pm to 2pm, featuring a selection of comforting, home-cooked dishes, including savory pies, soups, and locally inspired mains.
From 2:30pm until just before closing, indulge in our delightful high tea, complete with fresh-baked treats, seasonal desserts, and pastries. Many of our ingredients are sourced locally, from free-range eggs and meats to artisanal cheeses, ensuring a true taste of our region in every bite. We gladly cater to dietary needs and encourage you to inform our friendly staff when ordering so we can tailor your meal to perfection.
Sunday Carvery
Every Sunday from 12pm to 1:30pm, our carvery offers a traditional, hearty dining experience, perfect for gathering with family and friends. Enjoy a selection of expertly roasted meats, including succulent beef, honey glazed gammon, tender pork, and juicy turkey, all served with Yorkshire puddings, crisp roast potatoes, and a range of seasonal vegetables.
