The restaurant is only a short 15 minute drive from Bideford, we serve great food all while you overlook our beautiful lake that is fed by a babbling brook, which turns the water wheel on the mill house. Children are welcome to feed the fish under close supervision of an adult. The gardens surrounding the restaurant are open for you to explore.

Our restaurant opens from 10am daily serving breakfast until 11.30am, (11.15 on Sundays) it is definitely worth popping out for Coffee and cake. In addition at lunch time you are guaranteed a real treat. The restaurant has a day time lunch time menu which is supplemented by a daily specials menu cooked by our excellent chefs, that is available from 12pm until 2pm. As well as this we serve a fantastic high tea from 2.30pm until half an hour before closing.

We aim to use locally produced food where ever possible. Including local free range eggs, meats and cheese. We also aim to cater for any dietary requirements you may have. Please make our waiting staff aware of any dietary requirements when you place your order.

Carvery

On Sunday we run our award winning Sunday Carvery served between 12pm-1.30pm. We highly recommend booking as we are often fully booked. Adults £13.95 Children £8.95

Functions

The Mad Hatter’s Restaurant can also cater for all types of day time functions as we have a separate function room that can comfortably hold up to 70 people.

This is an ideal room for conferences, birthdays, family parties and crafting.
