The Merry Harriers wins Newcomer of the Year 2007 for the West Country
I am pleased to announce that the Morning Advertiser has selected The Merry Harriers as their 2007 Newcomer Pub of the Year for the West Country.
This prestigious Award was open to all licensees new to the trade between January and June 2005.
We now go forward to the national finals, with the overall winner being announced at the Morning Advertiser's Awards ceremony in London on 1 February 2007.
A sincere thank you to everyone who has helped to make this award possible.

The Merry Harriers wins a Taste of the West GOLD Award
Hot off the press, The Merry Harriers has received a prestigious Taste of the West GOLD Award in the 2006 Devon Pub Dining Class.
Taste of the West is a well known, independent organisation dedicated to promoting local produce in the South West. They have only made 5 GOLD Awards for the Whole of the West Country in the 2006 Pub Dining Class, (including Wiltshire and Gloucestershire). We are both honoured and proud to receive this terrific Award and would like to thank all of our customers, suppliers and partners for all of their help and support since our arrival in June 2005.
The Taste of the West judges summarised their visit to The Merry Harriers as follows:

Audi Q7 Launch
The Merry Harriers recently hosted the UK national launch of Audi's new 4 x 4 - the Q7.
Around 120 journalists and TV presenters attended the event over 3 days, with a traditional country inn styled 3 course lunch being served, using only the finest local ingredients.
The Q7 will be available for sale in the UK from September 2006.
